Steve Webb with Dimeu for PENN CHALLENGE

1st day: 07/05/2017, in São Pedro, 3 contacts of marlin, no marlin caught

2nd day: in São Pedro, 3 contacts, 2 marlins caught

3rd day: in São Pedro, 3 contacts, 1 marlin caught

4th day: in Santo Antão, 2 contacts, 1 marlin caught then in the channel, 1 marlin caught, then in São Pedro a double, 2 marlins caught, with a total of 4 marlins caught for the day

5th day: Nothing, 1 contact

Steve is very happy with his second position in the PENN CHALLENGE ranking, he won a 70lbs reel

Day 2: on the bench of Tarrafal, 1 marlin seen, 1 marlin caught

3rd day: 5 marlins seen, 2 caught

4th day: 2 marlins seen, 2 marlins caught with Pelagic Pulsator Lures and Bonzai Lures

Lasseron Team (french) with Nha Cretcheu

1st day (1st of May): direction São Nicolau, 1 contact, 1 marlin caught in Raso Island, beautiful 700 lbs fish with Pelagic Pulsator Lures

2nd day: at the bench of Tarrafal, 2 seen, nothing caught

3rd day: 4 seen, nothing fished (bad destination São Nicolau)

4th day: seen two marlins, two caught

5th day: 1 marlin caught on the bench, then back to São Vicente

6th day: in São Pedro, 1 contact but nothing fished !!!

4 marlins for 6 days, the customers are not very happy: 3 years ago, they had caught 17 marlins !!!




2017, APRIL 23TH

Team Theo Daly with Nha Cretcheu, Stuart Simpson was the skipper, Ryan Williamson was the liner and Fabio was the sailor.

1st day April 23 São Pedro, nothing

2nd day: direction São Nicolau, 3 marlins seen, 2 caught

3rd day: bench of Tarrafal São Nicolau, seen 3 marlins, 2 caught

4th day: 8 contacts, 3 marlins caught

5th day: 1 marlin caught

6th day: 1 marlin caught near the Raso island + 1 amberjack (25 kgs) in São Pedro and back to São Vicente

1 marlin of 812 lbs caught in São Nicolau

With a total of 10 marlins, the customers are very happy

Doray team aboard the Dimeu with Steve Webb as skipper, Sammy Yongo as Liner and JA as a sailor:

Day 1: April 23 in São Pedro: nothing

2nd day: in São Pedro, nothing

3rd day: direction Monte Trigo Santo Antão nothing, direction São Nicolau and arrival at 21 hours.

4th day: at the bench of Tarrafal, São Nicolau, 5 marlins seen, 3 marlins caught

5th day: 2 seen, 1 marlin caught

6th day: 1 marlin caught

7th day: return to São Vicente, nothing

Guests are disappointed, not enough fish




2017, APRIL 10TH

Yvan Plontueux and his son left Mindelo with the Dimeu and Steve Webb (skipper), Sammir Yongo (liner) and Ja (sailor):

1st day, 10/04: North of São Vicente, in the direction of São Nicolau, 1 contact, a spearfish caught

2nd day: at the bench of São Nicolau, 2 contacts, 2 marlin caught (1 500lbs)

3rd day São Nicolau, 2 contacts, 1 marlin caught (750lbs)

4th day return São Vicente, 3 contacts, 1 caught at the lighthouse of Baril west of Tarrafal and another at the islet of Raso (first fish and first marlin caught by the son)

Customers feel happy!

On board of the Nha Cretcheu with Stuart Simpson, Ryan Williamson and Fabio, we welcome the McGee team

1st day 07/04/2017: North São Vicente 4 blue marlins seen, 1 caught (400lbs)

2nd day: Direction São Nicolau, nothing

3rd day: 6 contacts nearTarrafal, 1 caught (250lbs)

4th day: 3 contacts, 2 marlins caught, 320lbs and 350 lbs

5th day: 2 marlins fished, 600 lbs and 400 lbs

6th day: 1 marlin caught 450 lbs and 1 unhooked, about 700 lbs

7th day: back to São Vicente, nothing.

Satisfied customers, they will come back next year.
